Events & Workshops

The ACCSC and our member organizations host a number of events and workshops throughout the year. 

 

ACCSC Signature Events

  • Arty Party - Will be held in January of each year. A chance to meet your Board, other members and network while hearing about the upcoming
  • Arts Expo - Held historically the second week in February but may go into March. This event was created in 2009 to advocate and showcase local visual artists. Performers and arts and culture based organizations. Artwork, programs and general information are provided to inform, engage and encourage public participation.  We shall co-host with Keep It Local in 2018.
  • Heritage Day of Strathcona County this event will be held in June of each year. This year's event will incorporate Canada's 150 year celebration with a culturally diverse and spotlight artisan showcase event.
  • Alberta Culture Days in Strathcona County – This event coincides with provincial and national arts and culture celebrations. A celebration of grass-roots arts communities, including displays, information, artists at work and interactive projects for the entire family. This dynamic and fun event presents the arts in their simplest forms to be enjoyed by all ages. We will co-host with the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County's Words in the Park event.
Workshops

The ACCSC offers a variety of workshops which have included and are not limited to: Grant Writing, Marketing, Public Speaking, Song Writing and Photography. The ACCSC strives to work with our membership to provide quality and meaningful workshops in all areas of artistic development.
